At Adopt Marketing, we strive to ensure complete satisfaction with our creative and technical services. Because we provide intangible, digital professional services, we have established the following policy regarding refunds and cancellations.
General Principles
- Service-Based Nature: Since our services involve manual labor and custom creative work, once work has commenced, the time spent cannot be recovered.
- Digital Products: Digital files (Logos, Website source code) are not “returnable” items.
Logo Design Services
- Full Refund: Eligible only if a cancellation request is made within 24 hours of payment and before any design concepts have been presented.
- Â Partial Refund: If the first set of concepts has been delivered but no revisions have been made, a [e.g., 50%] “kill fee” will be retained to cover the designer’s time, and the remainder will be refunded.
- Â No Refund: Once revisions have begun or the final files (JPG, PNG, etc.) have been delivered, no refunds will be issued.
WordPress Website Creation
- Deposit: The initial deposit (typically 50%) is used to secure your project slot and cover initial research and setup. This deposit is non-refundable once the project discovery phase has begun.
- Â Milestone Payments: Refunds are not available for completed milestones (e.g., after the homepage layout is approved or the site is moved to a live server).
- Â Third-Party Costs: Any costs incurred for third-party tools (Domain names, Hosting, Premium WordPress Themes, or Plugins) are non-refundable, as these are purchased on your behalf from external vendors.
Cancellation by Adopt Marketing
If, for any reason, Adopt Marketing is unable to complete a project due to unforeseen circumstances or internal issues, we will provide a full refund for any portions of the project that were paid for but not delivered.
